India’s first permanent bar made of ice has been launched in Mumbai at Oshiwara, just yards from the Mega Mall. Named 21 Fahrenheit – the bar is kept at a temperature of minus six degrees.
The bar is decorated with ice carvings on the ice chair and serving drinks in ice glass giving it a jazzy vibe. Guests are given a navy blue furry Parka coat, insulated moon boots and gloves to wear before entering.

There’s also a general bar outside, and above it, there’s a swish modern pan Asian restaurant, which seats 46 people. The restaurant has a live kitchen serving Japanese, Sichuan Chinese and Lucknowi cuisine, with smart wooden tables and chairs.

Most pubs and lounges are into this thing of creating, actually experimenting with various things to make their place the coolest from the many that are around. Crazy decor, creatively done ambiance, some even go to the extent of mixing the name with their offering! I haven't paid a visit to each and every, and those that I have, either left me disappointed or wanting for more. The former tops the chart! Now 21 Fahrenheit has gone a step beyond and made available the craziest lounge & pub anyone could think of. It is, literally the coolest one. Ask, "how?" ..well! it they have two separate spaces that are combined under one name. From the two, one is the the dinning area where you can get served with true PAN Asian cuisine. Thai, continental, Chinese and Indian. Fro a pub this is for the foodie section and now the second segregated place - 'Ice N Lounge' - which is set at a temp. of around -6 chilling degree's. This icy den is for drinking and partying like crazy only. If you have never seen what ice can be shaped into? ..pay a visit.
