Art "Attack"" at Kala Ghoda -Day 8 (13.2.2010)

Day 8 of Kala Ghoda would significantly be remembered for the last 10 mins when suddenly the performance was stopped and people from the distinct part of "our" nation weren't able to complete their performance.

Bringing in people from different parts of the nation and then "abusing" them by such act is a disgrace to their talent. Thats my view of it.

Kala Ghoda, the area being a non-residential area, should have atleast allowed them to keep the tabs on. But then there were threats from the other side saying that if they dont follow the time constrainments, Kala Ghoda Festival maybe Closed down for good.

The best part was that the crowd wanted more when the speakers were turned off. But the Organizers' hands were tied. The host himself said that we would sign a Petition to extend the time for Kala Ghoda beyond 10pm. I hope people turn up in large numbers. Coz this large number may actually make a difference.

Only then there shall be time for more Art and more Festivals like Kala Ghoda.
