Malaria Vivax leads to Heart Attack 9000 patients in Mumbai are in fear.

This is basically one of Mumbai's highest score over 8,600 cases of malaria in the first 17 days of July and also 2 people died. Last year, the positive cases for entire July stood at 4,380. For a city that was once a malaria-free area, the transformation into an endemic zone now appears complete.

But what is troubling more is now that a angerous mutation of malaria vivax strain is leading to heart attacks among patients, city’s top cardiologists revealed on Monday.

Doctors days that they have come across over eight such cases in last week at four hospitals which includes Hinduja, Jupiter, Breach Candy and Lilavati. These patients had no heart ailments earliar nor there previous generation has any symtoms of cardiac problem. They say they are suffering strokes after being down with malaria vivax for some days.

One of a victim name Sachin Ruikar is being treated after he suffered two heart attacks following blood clotting in arteries caused by malaria vivax, held an emergency meeting on Monday to discuss the alarming development. They are now preparing a report to be shared with the BMC’s health department. Sachin is 21 and has no bad habbits like drinking and smoking.

In Hinduja, almost 30 per cent patients are coming with heart problems, severe breathlessness and restlessness. Some had suffered heart attacks too who have taken Malaria vivax.
This problem is definitely serious and dangerous as city is been highly effected with malaria disease. Sources say that it has gone far worse then swine flu cases.

I like to conclude the article with a statement tha please keep your surroundings clean and regularly use mosquito spray in homes and avoid over crowded places if you are even little down with fever. Please use napkins while coughing or sneezing. Use all hygenic measures to avoid the dreadful disease 'Malaria'. Also visit doctor for regular chekups.
