You read it right....IPL has a lot of associated imagery-sport,entertainment,glitz,glamour and the ilk;but the thing that clicks or should I say clinks loudly and brazenly in my mind is MONEY,MOOLAH or PAISA!!

Its wasn't just a simple Strategic Timeout --It was a Max Mobile Strategic timeout;strategic being the operative word here;guess some people at Maxx Mobile got their strategy right.while we were biting out nails wondering(and the some hoping) as to how long the Pathan's wonder-thunder innings would last,we were greeted with ads of LG telling us Life's Good and Abhishek Bacchan singing the 'Direct Hai,Toh Correct hai' jingle of Videocon.Yes dears, we directly get the good point that this aint just out about cricket anymore.

Sponsorships have always been a part of the sports arena;but nobody does it like the IPL!!Its a marriage hard to ignore.Its right there,from Sachin holding his helmetted head in anxiety proclaiming 'Tata Consultancy Services' to spectators waving Vodafone placards with personalised messages of 'Boom Boom Pathan'.Uhuh Uhuh,boom goes the bank accounts!So we play dutiful audience,taking swigs of our beers and lapping up this extravanza of Modi,maidens and moolah...Howzzat;)
