Mumbai Wall Project gets help from social media
Once again social media has proved its worth. It was meant for starting a reaction, creating hype/awareness and finding solution. With social media tools like Facebook and Twitter, the Mumbai Wall project has gotten its rightful respect.
The power of social media lies in its reach i.e. it spreads like fire and grabs attention within seconds. For 48 hours nothing happened except increasing frustrations. Out came the tweets, blogs, posts, display status and since then everything has changed. Social media has done what humans in flesh & blood couldn't.
Everyone is talking about it and demanding what's right. Even celebrities are tweeting their thoughts on the same. The voices may come from different direction but the cause is one. The new generation of mumbaikars have arrived. They're not scared, not intimidated and definitely not giving up.

No offence here but wish that our SM friends use their collective might to pursue and resolve worthy causes, going beyond mere digital activism. Nonetheless, glad that someone other than sick TV news channels are highlighting causes without commercial breaks!
