Kala Ghoda started from the 6th of  February 2010 on  near Jehangir Art Gallery at Mumbai. It offers an interactive cultural concoction for Mumbaites.

The Kala Ghoda festival is also a medium for the revival of arts across Mumbai.

The entire area is decorated into a pedestrian plaza. Portrait paintings, traditional mehendi, exotic bangles, cuisine and traditional Parsi breakfast are the main attractions of this festival. Folk dancers, musicians and singers entertain the gathering. It was a wonderful event of the year as all are invited freely. Above all this the most cutest and the sweet event was of the small children .

Then the another event took place at the same venue which was of Games of Yore at  5.00pm sharp which was conducted by Amit Kothari playing and creating traditional games.  The other event conducted side by side was the Karadi song Hour only for kids which conducted in the Museum Garden presented by Karadi tales  only for children from 4 – 8yrs old. Then there was a event of  Colors of India which was even for the children in the parking lot.

At the side of these events there were the Surf Excel event which was based on the theme of “ Daag ache hote hai.
