Wear the creativity cap this year end. Party time can be so much fun with some crazy new ideas. Get beyond the food, drink and dance routine. Here are some tips for a ‘hatke’ party.  I admit, all ideas are not original…but hey fun is fun rite?

1. Make-up contest- Ask all female friends to carry every item of make up they own to the party. Then put together sets of everything from base to eye, lip and hair cosmetics and give them to the men. Contest is to apply every thing given…without a mirror! You will need loads of water to wash off the faces later. After taking some really cool pictures though.
   
   
2. Movie quiz- Collect as many things you can that suggest the name of a movie. For example a mirror for Aiana, a watch for Waqt, an Om locket for Omkara, a paper rose for Kagaz Ke Phool and so on. Keep at least 25-30 items. Divide the party into two groups. Each gets 5 minutes to look at the things and then leave the room. They must then remember as many things they can and pen the names of the movies they can think of. The group with the most movie names wins.
   
   
3. Bakra- Pick two or three people. Tell them that they have to participate in an obstacle race. Tie or hold some ropes across a race track and tell them they have to walk the track without tripping over the ropes. Then blindfold them. Tell them they have to walk the course while balancing a coin on the forehead. But remove the coin after pressing it hard on their foreheads. This way they will keep feeling it for a while. Then say start and take away the ropes too. Now there are no ropes to skip and no coins to balance. But the poor bakras will do their best to jump and balance while you have a hearty laugh.

 So party hard pals. And ring in the 2010 with loads of laughter.
