After 2 days they got a reply from Minal.

Hi Liza,

That’s very sad news. How did this happen. Actually I don’t know how to react and what kind of help can I provide. Naina and I have been together since last 8 years. I want to be there besides her at this moment of time. But I cannot make it till this month end. These two days I have been thinking a lot as to what I can do. Actually Naina hardly talked with people. She was so reserved. We are friends only because we were roommates. I don’t remember any other friend of hers to whom I can direct you. But I think there was a guy she liked, He was her class mate. I think his name should be ‘Sagar’. This is my guess, because she would keep singing this song all time when in room, that old song.. some ‘Sagar kinare … dil ye pukare…’ something like this. She would sing this whole day and bug me. When I use to ask her anything about the song she would smile mysteriously. So I think his name is Sagar. But I don’t know anything much about him. I believe he was her classmate. I hope this piece of info would help you. Keep mailing me about her progress and you can call me anytime if need arises. I will try to be there as soon as possible.

After reading Minal’s mail Liza and Piya both are sure that he is the same guy Naina was talking the other day about.

You remember she told about him… Just before the accident we had talked about him. I’m sure he is the same guy and now we even know his name, said Piya.

The search started for Mr. Sagar. The first resort was orkut. They went through Naina’s orkut friend list but could not find any Sagar in the list. They visited her college, searched the college database for him in Naina’s batch, but could not find him. He was in her class; they thought of calling some people randomly and enquire about him. They took the contact nos. of the whole batch. There was very less hope as after 6 years who will have the same contact number but they were not ready to leave a chance. It was a surprise to know a few did prefer to maintain their contact no rather than switching from one service provider to other after the lucrative plan offers. But no one knew anyone named Sagar.

This is height man.. they don’t remember their batchmates.. No one knows or remembers Naina is ok.. she never talked to anyone.. but guys should know each and everyone from their batch… said Piya frustrated at the response as she dialed the next number…

Hi, we need a small favor from you. We are looking for a person named Sagar who studied in your batch for class XII do you recollect him, can you provide any info regarding this?

Sagar?? Sagar… No there was no one named Sagar in my batch…

Please try to recollect he studied in your class. He was very brilliant. You are our last hope..

No Maam I don’t know anyone named Sagar…

Ufff.. ok… thanks for your cooperation… Piya said losing hope.

Hey wait… there was a guy named... ummm I don’t remember his name... actually his surname was Buddisagar and his name was too complicated so people usually called him sagar. May be you are looking for him.

Piya was very happy on knowing this... thank you. Do you have his contact no.

Ummmm.. let me check… I don’t think so…  I will have to check my old diary…. I will give you a call.

Finally they got contact no for Buddisagar from Rohan. They called him and told him the whole story. Sagar to their surprise knew Naina as his classmate. He was ready to help them. Sagar was going to visit Naina next day.
