Introducing an All New Saturday Brunch at Olive Bar & Kitchen, Bandra

The cool Saturday afternoon saw the white pebbled courtyard of Olive Bar & Kitchen, Bandra in high spirits as AD Singh and Chef Justin Dingle launched the restaurant’s very first Saturday Brunch.

 AD Singh played host to the city’s swish set and welcomed in guests to the lazy afternoon. The Saturday Brunch menu that Olive, Banda’s new Executive Head Chef, Justin specially created for the ‘do’ wooed the guests with mouth-watering signature dishes like Carpaccio of Salmon, Prawn Raviolis with Tomato, Cardamom & Coriander, Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Blue Cheese Cream Sauce & Walnuts, Beer Braised Mussels in Beer with Garlic Chili & Cilantro and Flame Grilled Chicken Salad with Avocado, Sundried Tomatoes, Shaved Parmesan & a Balsamic Dressing, to name a few.  

 Guests hob-nobbed over some excellent cocktails while digging into the delicious food that they sampled from the tempura station, the pallella counter, the fish & chips counter, the espadata counter, the live pasta counter. In addition, the entrées that streamed out of the kitchen looked and tasted scrumptious. Guests also treaded themselves therapeutic massages against the backdrop of live music while the kids romped around in the kid’s corner playing with toys and having their faces painted.

 





















The brunch was a languid, languorous affair with all taking the afternoon to relax, unwind and simply have a good time. Of those who turned up to enjoy the afternoon and join the hosts were Anil Chopra, Vikram Raizada, Divya Palat & Aditya Hitkari, Gaurav & Protima Bhatia, Nikasha Tawadey, Suner Aaron, Aarti & Kalash Surendranathan, Layscelle Symmons, Sumeet Shopra, Reshma Bombaywalla, Shehnaz Treasurywalla, Vishesh & Vipasha Aggarwal and Sunita Rao, amongst others.

 It sure was a great Saturday afternoon - the scrumptious food and the airy ambience of the Saturday Brunch at Olive, Bandra were all that were needed to make it a truly memorable time!
