Bal Thackeray put a ban on Australian cricketers from playing in Mumbai or anywhere in Maharashtra to protest against the attacks on Indians in Australia.
Bal Thackeray announced in Saamna — Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece "We will not allow kangaroo cricketers to play in Mumbai and Maharashtra, till the attacks are stopped on Indians,”
Thackeray praised Amitabh Bachchan for ran award announced by Queensland University in Australia to protest against the attacks on Indians.
